Installing RESUMate

Hardware Requirements

On Windows, RESUMate 17 requires Windows 10 or Windows 11 for both cloud and local use.

On a Mac, RESUMate Cloud and Cloud-Desktop require MacOS 10.14 (Mojave) or higher.

On a Chromebook, you must have a current enough version to still have access to the Google Play Store.

Database Maintenance & Repair

Database Corruption

RESUMate uses a Microsoft Access database format. It's easy to work with, easy to install, and keeps your data in a common format that can be imported into almost any other database. However, as with any data storage system, there's always the potential for minor data corruption that can affect performance (but will NOT cause data loss).

Corruption can happen because some small piece of data didn't copy completely or just through regular use. Fortunately, it can be easily fixed by running our repair utilities.

Backup & Data Migration

Don't Lose Your Data

If you lose your data, we can't retrieve it for you. We strongly recommend setting up an automatic backup system. It doesn't take long, and it can be the difference between a minor nuisance and the loss of weeks, months or more of valuable work.

If you don't have a backup system, we recommend iDrive
