LAN Setup InstructionsRESUMate Cloud
The PDF below contains step-by-step instructions for connecting to RESUMate Cloud from Windows, Mac, and Chromebook computers:
Hardware Requirements
On Windows, RESUMate 17 requires Windows 10 or Windows 11 for both cloud and local use.
On a Mac, RESUMate Cloud and Cloud-Desktop require MacOS 10.14 (Mojave) or higher.
On a Chromebook, you must have a current enough version to still have access to the Google Play Store.
RESUMate comes with two utilities to fix and prevent database corruption, Compact & Repair and Repair+.
Click the Database Maintenance icon in the upper right of RESUMate's main screen and you'll see options to repair the database and calendar files.
For large databases (25,000+ records / 500+MB), we recommend running Compact & Repair once per month.
Note: Make sure that you are the only user in RESUMate when you run Compact & Repair.
Repair+ is a separate program that can fix problems Compact & Repair sometimes cannot. In general, you only need to run Repair+ if you encounter a problem that Compact & Repair can't fix.

Error Message ListDatabase Corruption
RESUMate uses a Microsoft Access database format. It's easy to work with, easy to install, and keeps your data in a common format that can be imported into almost any other database. However, as with any data storage system, there's always the potential for minor data corruption that can affect performance (but will NOT cause data loss).
Corruption can happen because some small piece of data didn't copy completely or just through regular use. Fortunately, it can be easily fixed by running our repair utilities.
RESUMate Desktop data is stored locally on your own hardware (on your PC or somewhere on your LAN). That means that we do not have access and cannot back it up or restore it for you. Click below for instructions on backing up your data or migrating it to a new computer:
Backup and Migration InstructionsDon't Lose Your Data
If you lose your data, we can't retrieve it for you. We strongly recommend setting up an automatic backup system. It doesn't take long, and it can be the difference between a minor nuisance and the loss of weeks, months or more of valuable work.
If you don't have a backup system, we recommend iDrive
